Accuphase DC-500

The DC-500 uses advanced D/A conversion technology developed in Accuphase’s flagship models. It features an ES9028PRO chipset running in 8-channel parallel mode. Because of this, it improves resolution, reduces distortion, and increases signal accuracy.

MDSD and MDS++ processing

The processor supports MDSD (Multiple Double Speed DSD) playback. It also uses MDS++ architecture to process signals in parallel. As a result, digital audio gains better clarity, smoother flow, and lower noise.

Low distortion circuit design

The DC-500 uses ANCC technology in its filter amplifier and IV conversion stage. In addition, it features a direct balanced filter with independent circuits. Therefore, it reduces interference and keeps the signal path clean and stable.

Flexible digital connectivity

The unit includes multiple digital inputs, including USB, HS-LINK, coaxial, and optical connections. It also supports two USB Type-B inputs at the same time. Because of this, it can easily integrate with computers, streamers, and digital transports.

The DC-500 uses separate transformer-isolated power supplies for digital and analog circuits. In addition, it includes large custom filter capacitors with a total capacity of 120,000 µF. As a result, it delivers stable power and improved sound purity.
