ATC CA2 – Stereo preamp

The ATC CA2 is a high-performance stereo pre-amplifier designed to deliver musical clarity, flexibility, and low-noise performance. Based on technology developed for ATC’s flagship SCA2 pre-amplifier, it offers exceptional sound quality in a simpler and more accessible design.

In addition, the CA2 works equally well with ATC active loudspeakers or with a power amplifier in a traditional hi-fi system. Therefore, it provides excellent compatibility across a wide range of setups.

Class A pre-amplifier design

The CA2 uses discrete low-noise Class A circuitry evolved from the high-end SCA2 pre-amplifier. As a result, it delivers clean, detailed, and natural sound with excellent transparency.

Integrated phono stage

The built-in MC/MM RIAA phono stage includes adjustable gain and loading. Therefore, the CA2 offers flexible compatibility with a wide range of turntables and cartridges.

Connectivity and headphone output

The CA2 features five stereo RCA/phono inputs for multiple source components. In addition, a high-performance headphone amplifier allows direct listening without additional equipment.

System flexibility

Thanks to its versatile design, the CA2 works seamlessly with active loudspeakers or external power amplifiers. As a result, it can form the centre of both compact and high-performance audio systems.

Build and design

The CA2 is hand built in the UK and includes an IR remote control for convenient operation. In addition, it is backed by ATC’s 6-year warranty.
