Audio Technica AT-VM670xSP

The AT-VM670xSP is a specialized cartridge from Audio-Technica’s premium VMx series. It is designed to play 78 RPM mono records with excellent clarity. Unlike stereo cartridges, it uses internally connected dual coils. This reduces surface noise and delivers a focused, centered sound. In addition, the bonded 3.0 mil conical stylus reads wide grooves accurately, making it ideal for shellac records from different eras.

As with all VMx models, the AT-VM670xSP features PCUHD® copper coils. These high-quality materials create detailed, natural sound. Furthermore, fewer coil windings improve transient response. The result is a fast, vivid, and realistic audio experience.
