Graham Audio LS5/8S (Slotted Version)

The Graham Audio LS5/8S (Slotted Version) is a refined evolution of the classic BBC LS5/8 monitor. It’s built for critical listening, delivering powerful output with exceptional clarity and tonal balance. Designed for larger spaces, this speaker stays true to BBC standards while offering modern enhancements.

A Modern take on a BBC Classic

Created in collaboration with Derek Hughes and Volt Loudspeakers, the LS5/8S improves on the original LS5/8 design. It introduces a unique slotted front panel, which helps shape the sound dispersion. As a result, it offers a more open and immersive listening experience.

Proven Components, expert Craftsmanship

This version uses a custom 12-inch polypropylene driver for deep bass and smooth midrange. It’s paired with the trusted 34mm Audax tweeter, also found in the LS5/9. Together, they deliver a balanced sound with natural vocals and detailed highs.

• 12″ polypropylene woofer offers tight bass and smooth mids
• 34mm Audax tweeter provides detailed, natural highs
• Slotted baffle improves openness and dispersion
• Precision-built birch plywood cabinet with Rockwool damping
• Passive crossover enhances resolution and stereo imaging

Built for studios and serious listening

The LS5/8S is ideal for professional studios and audiophile setups alike. It offers the power needed for larger rooms while keeping the midrange clarity of the LS5/9. Therefore, switching between the two models is seamless and consistent.
