The platter, weighing 4 kg and made from Delrin, rotates on an inverted ceramic ball bearing mounted in a solid cast iron base. This construction improves stability while minimizing unwanted energy transfer. In addition, the motor assembly is mounted separately within a solid aluminium block, further reducing interference with the playback system.

Clean control, focused performance

Five metal buttons on the front panel control start, stop, speed selection, and fine adjustment. By omitting a display, J.Sikora keeps the design simple and focused, reducing cost without affecting performance. Therefore, all attention remains on sound quality and mechanical precision.
