The KV12 Max follows J.Sikora’s philosophy that every mechanical detail should serve the music. Therefore, its precision unipivot bearing minimises friction while maintaining excellent stability. At the same time, the integrated oil damping system controls unwanted movement without restricting the cartridge’s natural response.

Consequently, the longer 12-inch geometry reduces tracking error and allows music to unfold with greater openness, smoother dynamics and a more convincing soundstage.

Advanced Materials with a Purpose

Every material in the KV12 Max has been carefully selected to control resonance. The conical Kevlar® arm tube combines low mass with outstanding rigidity, while aluminium, bronze, brass and stainless steel create an exceptionally stable mechanical platform.

In addition, the internal 24K gold-plated 6N OCC copper wiring preserves signal purity from the cartridge to the phono stage. This helps reveal finer detail, richer tonal colour and greater transparency throughout the recording.
