J.Sikora KV12 Tonearm

J.Sikora KV12 Tonearm

The J.Sikora KV12 Tonearm is a reference-grade 12-inch tonearm designed to extract the full potential from high-end moving-coil cartridges. Built around J.Sikora’s refined unipivot bearing, it combines precision engineering with carefully selected materials to deliver exceptional tracking accuracy, natural tonal balance and effortless musical flow.

Designed for Accurate Tracking

The 12-inch geometry reduces tracking error across the record surface, allowing the cartridge to follow the groove with greater precision. As a result, the KV12 produces a more stable soundstage, smoother dynamics and a remarkably natural presentation.

At the same time, the precision unipivot bearing minimises friction, while the integrated oil damping system controls unwanted movement without restricting the cartridge’s response.

Kevlar® Engineering with Purpose

At the heart of the KV12 is its distinctive conical Kevlar® arm tube. J.Sikora selected Kevlar® because it combines low weight with exceptional rigidity and effective internal damping. Furthermore, the aluminium, bronze, cast iron and stainless steel construction creates a rigid platform that keeps unwanted resonance under control.

Consequently, the KV12 reveals greater transparency, richer tonal colour and finer musical detail across every recording.

Key Features

• 12-inch unipivot design: Reduces tracking error while maintaining exceptionally smooth cartridge movement.
• Conical Kevlar® arm tube: Combines low mass with outstanding rigidity and resonance control.
• Oil damping system: Improves stability while preserving musical flow.
• Premium multi-material construction: Aluminium, bronze, cast iron and stainless steel work together to minimise unwanted vibration.
• Adjustable VTA: Allows precise height adjustment for optimal cartridge setup.
• Azimuth adjustment: Makes fine cartridge alignment simple and accurate.

Built for Reference Systems

With an effective length of 304.8mm and an effective mass of 13g, the KV12 pairs naturally with a wide range of premium moving-coil cartridges. Moreover, its precise adjustment options make fine-tuning straightforward for demanding analogue systems.

Whether you play intimate jazz recordings or large orchestral works, the KV12 delivers greater depth, tighter bass and a more convincing sense of space.

Handcrafted J.Sikora Excellence

Every J.Sikora KV12 Tonearm reflects the company’s commitment to precision craftsmanship and long-term durability. Available in Natural Yellow or Lacquered Black Matte, it complements both J.Sikora turntables and other reference-grade analogue systems.

When precision engineering meets innovative Kevlar® construction, every record reveals greater realism, balance and musical flow.
