Inspired by strength and elevation

Named after Mount Pumori, known as “Everest’s Daughter,” the Summit Pumori reflects power combined with refinement. Likewise, its design focuses on confidence, control, and clarity, even when music becomes complex or demanding.

Advanced three-way driver system

At the top, JBL’s patented 1.5-inch dual-diaphragm, dual-motor compression driver works with a large-format HDI™ Sonoglass® horn. As a result, high frequencies sound open, precise, and effortless, even at higher levels.

Below, an 8-inch mid-bass driver and a 10-inch woofer anchor the sound. Both use Hybrid Carbon Cellulose Composite (HC4) cones, which blend stiffness and low mass. Therefore, bass remains deep and controlled, while midrange detail stays clear and natural.

MultiCap™ crossover for clean signal flow

The MultiCap™ crossover distributes the signal with exceptional precision. By using many smaller capacitors instead of a few large ones, the design reduces energy loss and distortion. Consequently, dynamics improve and musical detail emerges more clearly.

Rigid cabinet with refined isolation

The curved cabinet walls use internal bracing and damping to limit standing waves. This approach keeps the enclosure quiet and focused, even during demanding passages. In addition, the premium finishes add visual elegance without distracting from performance.

IsoAcoustics™ isolation for tighter bass

Custom JBL | IsoAcoustics™ feet decouple the speaker from the floor. As a result, bass tightens, imaging sharpens, and the soundstage gains depth and stability.
