The Klipsch Ojas kO-R2 is a premium passive 2-way loudspeaker created through a collaboration between Klipsch and OJAS. Klipsch artisans hand-build every kO-R2 in Hope, Arkansas. Moreover, the speaker combines a large 15-inch woofer with OJAS’s distinctive multisectoral horn design. Together, these elements create powerful dynamics, excellent efficiency, and a lifelike musical presentation.

OJAS multisectoral horn technology

The kO-R2 features the OJAS 1506 multisectoral horn, crafted from sand-cast aluminium. Therefore, it delivers controlled sound dispersion and highly efficient high-frequency performance. Furthermore, the horn helps create a wide and immersive soundstage with impressive detail and presence.

Large 15-inch woofer

Klipsch pairs the horn with its renowned K-33-E 15-inch woofer in a vented cabinet. As a result, the speaker produces deep bass, strong impact, and effortless dynamics. In addition, the large driver brings scale and realism to both music and live recordings.

Seamless driver integration

The K-706 compression driver handles high frequencies and crosses over at 760 Hz. Consequently, the woofer and horn work together smoothly across the frequency range. This design also improves efficiency while preserving musical detail and clarity.

Handcrafted Baltic birch cabinet

Klipsch builds the cabinet from 13-ply Grade A Baltic birch plywood. Therefore, the enclosure remains rigid and stable during playback. In addition, the strong cabinet construction helps reduce unwanted resonance and supports cleaner sound reproduction.

User-adjustable high-frequency control

The kO-R2 includes a five-step high-frequency level control. As a result, listeners can adjust the treble response to suit their room and personal taste. Furthermore, anodised aluminium binding posts and anti-vibration feet add both durability and performance.

Distinctive finishes
