Phasemation T-320 MC Stepup Transformer

The Phasemation T-320 is a high-quality MC step-up transformer designed to bring out detailed and natural sound from MC cartridges. It builds on the T-550 design concept and refines it with added flexibility and improved usability. As a result, it delivers clean, stable, and highly expressive analog sound reproduction.

Phasemation develops the T-320 using a rigid chassis structure and a custom transformer design. In addition, it adopts key technologies from the T-550 to maintain high sound quality. Therefore, it offers both strong performance and practical operation in a more compact form.

Rigid chassis based on T-550 design

The T-320 uses a solid enclosure with a 10mm slanted aluminum front panel, a copper-plated steel chassis, and a copper-plated cover. In addition, non-magnetic stainless steel screws improve rigidity and reduce magnetic distortion. As a result, the structure remains stable and resistant to vibration.

Split winding transformer design

Phasemation uses a custom split-winding structure with ultra-thick copper wire on a 78% permalloy EI core. Therefore, it achieves wide bandwidth, low phase distortion, and high efficiency. In addition, it improves low-frequency linearity and spatial accuracy for a more realistic soundstage.

MM/MC switching function

The T-320 includes a front-panel switch for MM and MC operation. Therefore, users can easily change between cartridge types without external adapters. This adds flexibility while maintaining high sound quality performance.

Sound performance

The T-320 delivers clear bass, natural midrange, and detailed treble. As a result, it produces a stable and well-defined soundstage with precise imaging and good musical flow.
