Ramar’s brushes are distinguished by their unique arrangement of bristles. Six double rows containing millions of carbon fibres thoroughly reach into the record grooves, while two rows of goat hair provide additional support for collecting dust and larger dirt particles. Consequently, the combination carefully removes contaminants from the record surface and safely picks them up rather than simply moving them around.

Designed to control static

The material properties of the carbon fibres and goat hair, together with their carefully considered arrangement, help dissipate existing electrostatic charge from the record. At the same time, the brush is designed to prevent the formation of additional static during cleaning. The bristle cover is made from aluminium and refined with an electroless nickel coating. This finish is exceptionally wear-resistant, provides a high level of corrosion protection, and is electrically conductive. Protective storage and easy maintenance

The supplied case protects the carbon fibres and goat hair from dirt and accidental damage while the brush is stored. To maintain excellent cleaning performance, Ramar recommends removing dust from the brush before use and at regular intervals with the supplied cleaning pad made from natural felt. Consequently, proper care helps preserve the brush’s performance and extend its service life.

Individual serial number and exclusive service

Every Amy brush is individually marked with a serial number. This allows Ramar to trace production information, including who made the brush, when it was produced, and which materials were used. If necessary, the fibres can also be renewed, allowing the brush to be overhauled rather than replaced. As a result, Amy is designed to remain a trusted part of a vinyl collection for many years.
