Unique carbon fibre and goat hair brush trim

The MA features Ramar’s distinctive brush trim, handcrafted in the company’s Berlin workshop. Six double rows of carbon fibres are combined with two rows of goat hair in a precise arrangement designed for excellent dust absorption. The millions of carbon fibres thoroughly follow every groove, while the goat hair supports the removal and collection of loosened particles. Consequently, both fine dust and larger dirt particles can be carefully lifted from the record surface.

Effective static control

The individual material properties of the carbon fibres and goat hair, together with the carefully developed brush geometry, also help manage electrostatic charge. Existing static charge is effectively dissipated, while the design helps prevent additional charge from forming during cleaning. As a result, the record surface can be prepared for playback with greater cleanliness and control.

The MA is crafted from solid ash wood with a stained and oiled surface. This treatment provides resistance to abrasion and dirt while preserving the natural character of the wood.
