What is CAT-7 Cable ?

CAT-7 cable standard was ratified in 2002 to allow 10 Gigabit Ethernet for over 100 meters of copper cabling.

It contains four twisted copper wire pairs, in CAT-7 cable, four pairs of twisted copper wire are separated shielded to achieve the best cross-talk performance.
