Stenheim Reference Ultime Two

The Stenheim Reference Ultime Two delivers performance that honours the musical performance. Although it is the most compact speaker in the Reference line, it is still larger than the Alumine Five. It is designed for bigger spaces and powerful systems, filling rooms with dynamic, full-bandwidth sound and deep bass that smaller cabinets cannot match.

Precision aluminium construction

The cabinet uses solid aluminium panels over a critically braced internal chassis, CNC machined from billet aluminium. Each driver sits in its own chamber to reduce interference. Consequently, the cabinet remains rigid and inert, preventing flex even at high volumes, which ensures consistent, clear sound.

Full d’Appolito driver layout

Like other Reference Line models, the Ultime Two employs a symmetrical d’Appolito layout. It uses two 30 cm (12-inch) forward-firing woofers to extend bass down to 25 Hz. Additionally, rear-facing laminar-flow reflex ports enhance transient response, allowing fast, dynamic musical passages to retain clarity and precision. Two midrange drivers and a tweeter complete the five-driver setup, keeping the system simple while ensuring each driver operates in its optimal range.

The passive crossover uses the finest electrical components, which guarantee musical integrity. These high-quality parts maximize transparency, detail, and dynamic expression, creating the most captivating sound possible.

Room optimization

Furthermore, the rear panel allows fine-tuning of highs, mids, and bass to match different room acoustics. As a result, the Reference Ultime Two delivers balanced, natural sound without requiring excessive space behind the speaker.

Despite its impressive performance, the Reference Ultime Two maintains a classical, slim elegance. It fits seamlessly into any room decor. Standard finishes include Light and Dark Grey, while custom options such as Ivory, Mocca, or Full Black are also available. Additionally, metal trim parts can be customized or retrofitted to match the room or system aesthetics.

It also accommodates various floor types, from carpets to delicate surfaces, ensuring optimal speaker performance.
