Precision direct drive performance

The SL-40CBT uses a coreless direct drive motor that delivers stable, highly accurate rotation while eliminating cogging. In addition, Technics’ digital motor control continuously monitors and adjusts platter speed for exceptional playback accuracy.

Wireless analogue listening

Built-in Bluetooth® lets you stream vinyl records directly to compatible wireless speakers or headphones. Furthermore, support for Qualcomm® aptX™ Adaptive and SBC provides reliable wireless performance while preserving sound quality.

Ready to play

The turntable includes a pre-installed Audio-Technica AT-VM95C cartridge and a built-in MM phono preamplifier. Therefore, you can connect it directly to active speakers or an amplifier and start enjoying your vinyl collection immediately.

Engineered for accurate playback

The traditional S-shaped tonearm delivers precise groove tracking, while the die-cast aluminium platter provides excellent rotational stability. At the same time, specially tuned isolation feet reduce unwanted vibration and help maintain clean, detailed sound.
