Professional customers should ask for a professional invoice when purchasing. Orders addressed to Wide Screen Audio by post or telephone will not be processed. Wide Screen Audio has the right to refuse an order in the event of a previous dispute with the Customer due to non-payment or incomplete payment of a previous order. The Customer may place an order with Wide Screen Audio:

Any order placed on the website https://www.widescreenaudio.be presupposes the creation of a customer account. The Customer places the chosen products in his shopping basket; here, the Customer has an overview of his order with the total price and any additional costs, such as those of the chosen courier service. Any payment by bank transfer must be paid in full at the time of ordering. Article 5: Delivery and execution of the agreement

Delivery can take place at a collection point or at the customer’s home address. If the item is in stock, the date and time of delivery will be determined jointly by the carrier/courier service and Wide Screen Audio. The Customer shall take care of the assembly of the products itself, unless otherwise agreed between the parties. Specific costs will be charged for assembly services. A quotation for this can be requested via email online@widescreenaudio.be. If the products of an order are available on different dates, Wide Screen Audio offers the Customer the possibility of splitting his order. In the case of split delivery, the delivery costs apply to each partial delivery of the order. If split delivery is not chosen, the products will be delivered as soon as all products are available. Unless otherwise agreed or expressly provided, the goods shall be delivered to the Customer’s residence or chosen pick-up point no later than 30 days after receipt of the order. The Customer must check the condition of the packaging, number and contents at the time of delivery and in the presence of the carrier. Any visible damage and/or qualitative deficiency of an item or other failure in delivery must be noted by the Customer on the delivery note and reported to Wide Screen Audio without delay. The statement on the delivery note “subject to unpacking” will not be accepted. Risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer as soon as he (or a third party designated by him, who is not the carrier) has taken physical possession of the goods. However, the risk already passes to the Customer on delivery to the carrier, if the carrier has been instructed by the Customer to transport the goods and this choice had not been offered by Wide Screen Audio. Any complaint must be delivered to Wide Screen Audio within 3 working days of delivery. After this period, the complaint will be definitively rejected. Once the complaint has been established by the Customer, the Customer is not permitted to modify anything to the product and must allow Wide Screen Audio to establish the reported defects itself. If this is not complied with, the complaint cannot be considered. If, after investigation, the complaint is accepted by Wide Screen Audio, the warranty provisions shall apply. Regardless of the reason for the complaint, the Customer must accept the delivery and cannot refuse it from the carrier. The Customer must keep the product until acceptance of return from Wide Screen Audio.

Article 6: Retention of title

The supplied items remain the exclusive property of Wide Screen Audio until payment in full by the Customer. The Customer undertakes, if necessary, to draw the attention of third parties to Wide Screen Audio’s retention of title, e.g. to any person who may come to seize items not yet paid for in full.

Article 7: Right of withdrawal

The provisions of this article apply only to Customers who purchase items online from Wide Screen Audio in their capacity as consumers. The Customer has the right to withdraw from the contract within a period of 14 calendar days without giving reasons. The withdrawal period shall expire 14 calendar days after the day on which the Customer or a third party designated by the Customer, other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the good. To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must inform Wide Screen Audio, Zwijnaardsesteenweg 75, 9000 Ghent, of its decision to withdraw from the contract by an unequivocal statement by e-mail to online@widescreenaudio.be. The Customer may use the attached model withdrawal form for this purpose, but is not obliged to do so.(Link to model form) To comply with the withdrawal period, the Customer must send his communication concerning his exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. The Customer must return the goods without delay, but in any event no later than 14 calendar days from the day on which it communicates its decision to withdraw from the contract to Wide Screen Audio. The Customer is on time if he returns the goods before the period of 14 calendar days has expired. The direct costs of returning the goods shall be borne by the Customer. The costs are estimated at a maximum of approximately EUR 200. The Customer is requested to return the items in their original condition and packaging, with all accessories and instructions supplied with them. If the returned product has diminished in value in any way, Wide Screen Audio reserves the right to hold the Customer liable and claim compensation for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the Customer’s use of the goods beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods. All returned items are carefully examined. The basic principle here is that the consumer may only inspect the item as he would be allowed to do in a shop. Returned articles may have been viewed but not used. Where an item has suffered a reduction in value due to the Customer’s use, this will be charged to the Customer. If the Customer withdraws from the agreement, Wide Screen Audio shall refund all payments received from the Customer up to that point, including standard delivery costs, to the Customer within a maximum of 14 calendar days after Wide Screen Audio is informed of the Customer’s decision to withdraw from the agreement. In the case of sales contracts, Wide Screen Audio may wait to refund until it has received all the goods back, or until the Customer has proved that he has returned the goods, whichever comes first. The original delivery charge will only be refunded if the entire order is returned. Any additional costs resulting from the Customer’s choice of a mode of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by Wide Screen Audio will not be refunded. Wide Screen Audio will refund the Customer using the same means of payment with which the Customer made the original transaction, unless the Customer has expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, the Customer will not be charged for such refunds. The Customer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal for:

  • service contracts after the full performance of the service;
  • the supply or provision of goods or services whose price is subject to fluctuations in the financial market over which Wide Screen Audio has no control and which may occur within the withdrawal period;
  • the delivery of goods manufactured to the Customer’s specifications, or clearly intended for a specific person;
  • the supply of goods which, after delivery, are by their nature irrevocably mixed with other products;
  • agreements where the Customer has specifically requested Wide Screen Audio to visit it to carry out urgent repairs or maintenance there;
  • the delivery of sealed audio and sealed video recordings and sealed computer software whose seal has been broken after delivery;
  • the provision of accommodation other than for residential purposes, carriage of goods, car rental services, catering and services relating to leisure activities, where the contracts provide for a specific date or period of performance;
  • the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, if the performance has begun with the Customer’s express prior consent and provided the Customer has acknowledged that he thereby loses his right of withdrawal (e.g. music downloads, software).

For items purchased online and delivered to the Customer’s home, the Customer should contact customer service and return the item to Wide Screen Audio. If a defect is detected, the Customer must inform Wide Screen Audio as soon as possible. In any case, any defect must be reported by the Customer within a period of 2 months after its detection. Thereafter, any right to repair or replacement expires. The warranty (commercial and/or legal) shall never apply to defects arising as a result of accidents, neglect, falls, use of the item contrary to purpose for which it was designed, failure to comply with the instructions for use or manual, modifications or alterations to the item, heavy-handed use, poor maintenance, or any other abnormal or incorrect use.
