JBL Classic L52 Black Edition

Back in 2018, JBL launched to great acclaim the L100 Classic. A bang up-to-date, reimagining of the L100 Century, a line of speakers that generated over a million units sold in the 1970s!

Following in 2020 with the smaller but just as potent L82, the 82′ delivered a wonderful listen but still had one of the biggest obstacles for modern living, its physical size.

Now JBL introducing the L52, the baby bookshelf version of the L100 & L82. Housed in an ultra-compact cabinet, but with the iconic design, the L52 looks the part as well as sounding truly wonderful. The retro design like its bigger brothers is really the only carryover from the original L82. The new “L” series is a complete re-working of the design, new drive units, crossovers and internal bracing help this range delivery a standout sound in a retro design.

The L52 is constructed using a furniture grade Walnut veneer and is offered with the iconic Quadrex foam grille, as with its larger siblings it is available with Orange, Black or Blue grills – Additional grills are available if you wish to change the look of the speaker further down the line.
