Stillpoints Ultra SS V2

The first in the line of Ultra filters. Wonderful all-around performer, under electronics, attached to loudspeakers.

This isolation device can support larger loudspeakers and equipment.  If a direct connection to a device is desired, and optional Stillpoints Adapter can be purchased separately.  The Flat Hard Hat on the opposite end allows for leveling the device.  The new Ultra SS “Bullet Spike” can be attached on either end.  Both ends of the Ultra SS can accept a 1/4-20 threaded male stud.

Using proprietary stainless steel and ceramic bearings the Stillpoint ultra SS V2 essentially takes the micro vibrations coming from the component that is sitting on it and dissipates them (top-down).

It also decouples the component from the surface that the Stillpoints is sitting on.

Most other component feet work in the 20hz to approximately 1kHz band.

The Stillpoints work with vibrations downwards of 100 nanoseconds. These are the frequencies that harm the audio signal the most.

They act as a filter on these frequencies, and the benefit is passed into the audible band.
